Activate Camps are proud deliverers of holiday activity and food camps (HAF)
We deliver HAF across various local authorities in England as well as managing all delivery in Bath and North East Somerset.
We are proud to support this fantastic programme and the thousands of children and parents it helps.
The Department of Education has continued it’s funding of the holiday, activity and food (HAF) programme for 2025. Funds have been made available to every local authority in England to arrange free holiday camp provision, including healthy food and enriching activities for benefits related eligible free school meal children.
What happens on a HAF camp?
An Activate Camps HAF camp will include lots of sport, games, challenges, arts and crafts, healthy lifestyle activities, FREE food and most importantly FUN!
Children will need to bring along a refillable drinks bottle, wear suitable clothes for indoor and outdoor activity and arrive with lots of energy. We will provide the rest!

By booking your child’s free place on this year’s HAF programme, you are confirming that the child in question is eligible for benefits related free school meals.
PLEASE ONLY BOOK FOR THE DAYS YOU WISH YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND. THIS IS A GOVERNMENT FUNDED PROGRAMME AND EACH DAILY PLACE COSTS APPROXIMATELY £60 TO FACILITATE WHICH ALLOWS IT TO COME AT NO COST TO THE FAMILY. IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE LONGEVITY OF THE PROGRAMME IT IS IMPORTANT THAT FAMILIES USE THE PLACES THEY BOOK.
