LSGA have trained managers on every site who come from a variety of different backgrounds. We actively recruit primary school teachers, PGCE students, childcare professionals and highly qualified sports and activity staff in order to ensure that our camps are as safe and effective as possible, and that we meet the high standards set and expected by Ofsted.”
We recognise the importance of health and safety and child welfare and as such we are the only provider of our kind that has training developed in partnership with Cardinus Risk Management and approved by the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management. All of our staff whether they are an assistant coach or regional manager take part in our approved online training.
Without exception, all of our coaching staff are BG (British Gymnastics) qualified, DBS checked and have completed our own comprehensive training. All our coaches take part in our accredited staff training programme by the International Institute of Risk Management.
We value our coaches experience very highly and employ several ex or current high performers as instructors. Their experience of competing adds great value and insight into what is required to perform at the highest level.
Many of our instructors perform at a high level, coach at school, club and representative level. Some of our outstanding staff have experience of working abroad with talented youngsters, as well as in developing countries across the globe.

Lauren has been in gymnastics since the age of 3 and grew up with gymnastics being a huge part of her life. In her formative years it was very competitive and strived to be the best she could. This has helped her with the coaching. She originally started off in Women's Artistic at Phoenix Gymnastics Club before moving into the discipline Aerobics at Bulmershe Gymnastics Club. It was here she won the gold medal for the under 12 British Champion within the NAC category.
Lauren went on to compete both as an individual and as part of a group within FIG. When a teenager she didn't want to leave the sport she loved but due to a limiting injury she could not train with the same intensity so she moved into Festival Gymnastics where she made friends and enjoyed weekends away at festivals which were all about having fun and being creative. This has also helped her with her coaching later in life.
Whilst at school she studied PE, alongside taking her Level 1 Women's Artistic coaching course, knowing that after school gymnastics was still a career she wished to pursue. In September 2013 at the age of 19 she opened her own gymnastics club - Airborne Gymnastics Club. It is a recreational based club which combines all her experiences and aims to give all children the chance to be a part of the sport, teach to each ability level and create opportunities for them to compete and showcase what they have learned to their family and friends.
Although comparatively young, Lauren is an experienced Level 3 coach and always creates a safe and fun environment in which children feel confident and are encouraged to work to the best of their ability whilst enjoying their gymnastics. She is passionate about giving the chance to learn different skills, techniques and disciplines of gymnastics. Lauren also helps to lead our training with Louis.
