The Department of Education has continued it’s funding of the holiday, activity and food (HAF) programme for 2023. Funds have been made available to every local authority in England to arrange free holiday camp provision, including healthy food and enriching activities for benefits related eligible free school meal children.
A HAF Camp will include;
- Sport
- Games, activity and challenges
- Exciting and active healthy lifestyle sessions
- A FREE healthy lunch
- FUN!
Children will need to bring along a refillable drinks bottle, wear suitable clothes for indoor and outdoor activity and arrive with lots of energy. We will provide the rest!
By booking your child’s free place on this year’s HAF programme, you are confirming that the child in question is eligible for benefits related free school meals.
PLEASE ONLY BOOK FOR THE DAYS YOU WISH YOUR CHILD TO ATTEND. THIS IS A GOVERNMENT FUNDED PROGRAMME AND EACH DAILY PLACE COSTS APPROXIMATELY £50 TO FACILITATE WHICH ALLOWS IT TO COME AT NO COST TO THE FAMILY. IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE LONGEVITY OF THE PROGRAMME IT IS IMPORTANT THAT FAMILIES USE THE PLACES THEY BOOK.
