TCA x THE R66T ACADEMY
The Cricket Academy has teamed up with The R66T Academy to deliver exciting 1-day specialist batting camps this summer!
The R66T Academy coaches will deliver a full day of specialist training supported by ECB qualified The Cricket Academy coaches.
The camp is for young cricketers aged 8-16 years old, looking to take their batting to the next level with expert coaching from The R66T Academy!
It is aimed at children who are currently playing cricket. All children are expected to bring their own batting equipment (bat, gloves, pads, helmet, and box).
THE CAMP DAY
Enjoy a full day of batting specific content, focused on making you a better batter!
The day is broken down in to distinct sections, warm-up and fitness, technical sessions, tactical sessions, all tied together with a variety of challenges and game scenarios.
9.30am-9.45am – registration and welcome
9.45am-10.15am – warm-up
10.15am-11.15am – R66T Fundamentals
11.15am-12.15pm – skills & drills
12.15pm-1.00pm – lunch
1.00pm-1.30pm – challenge Joe
1.30pm-2.15pm – net sessions
2.15pm-3.15pm – game based scenarios
3.15pm-4.15pm – match play
4.15pm-4.30pm – reflection and awards
